Med Numbers

Med # 01 - 199     --   Pennsylvania EMT
Med # 200 - 299   --   Pennsylvania First Responder
Med # 300 - 399   --   National Safety Council - Level 3
Med # 415 - 499   --   Pennsylvania EMT
Med # 900 - 999   --   Associate
Status

Cleared     --   A member who has the ability to run a duty shift and is able to crew chief a call.

Associate   --   A member who is not an EMT. They are certified in CPR for the health care provider.

Alumni     --   A former VEMS member, who has since graduated. They can still pull duty shifts.

Probationary   --   An EMT who is still in the process of becoming a regular member.
